Conflict happens in every relationship. Differences are part of being human. When expressed respectfully and resolved well, conflict can even strengthen relationships. It becomes harmful when it is frequent, intense or unresolved - when repair doesn’t happen and children are exposed to ongoing tension.
In Connective Parenting NVR, we understand that conflict often emerges when connection breaks down and people feel unseen or overwhelmed. When our nervous systems are in survival mode, listening, empathy, and reflection become harder to access.
