Masterclass - The Words Beneath the Behaviour

When children can’t put it into words, their behaviour often speaks for them. In this masterclass Kim Jenkins will share how trauma affects speech, language and communication and what helps children feel safe enough to connect and communicate.

Kim Jenkins is a Speech, Language and Communication Therapist who has worked with children and young people across schools, youth justice, prisons and community settings. Her passion for helping children be understood shines through her work supporting parents and professionals to recognise the impact of speech and language needs and how to respond in ways that truly help.
